These genre-defying prose poems speak of the difficult mother-daughter relationship in tormented yet hopeful words. As with all of Andersen's work, these poems reflect her philosophical influences and love of experimental writing.

Author Biography: Marguerite Andersen has taught women's studies and modern French literature at Concordia University and the University of Guelph, and has held the Nancy Ruth chair of women's studies at Mount St. Vincent University.
