Bravi: Lyric Opera of Chicago

Bravi celebrates one of the great companies in the world—Lyric Opera of Chicago—truly a special place where artists love to come to sing and where, night after night, audiences fill the house to overflowing. During the past fifteen years, under the leadership of general director Ardis Krainik, and with artistic director Bruno Bartoletti, Lyric has given the world many truly extraordinary productions. Now, to commemorate Lyric's fortieth anniversary, the great photographer Victor Skrebneski has photographed eleven outstanding international singers. He has honored some of Lyric's most important conductors, designers, and directors and has chosen, and personally printed, a magnificent collection of production photographs taken since 1981.
