2015 Punishment Chart for North Carolina Crimes and Motor Vehicle Offenses

This publication presents, in chart form, statutory punishments for felony and misdemeanor crimes as well as for motor vehicle offenses and infractions. It includes information about offenses that

1. are subject to the Crime Victims' Rights Act,
2. require sex offender registration, or
3. require or authorize driver's license revocations.

The information is current through legislation enacted during the 2015 session of the North Carolina General Assembly.
