Hilariously charming stories revolving around a gang of precocious children, called the Tykes, who just happen to have supernatural features. There's Li'l Bloody, vampire toddler; X-Ray Spence, with the x-ray vision; the Pullapart Boy and others. The Tykes find their loyalties and friendship tested when the Big Wheel races come to their town and its greatest champion, Johnny Takagi joins their ranks.
