This book is for anyone willing to join a renewal of what has been called "present truth," as the Lord leads us daily into greater knowledge of Him. This may require that some things we have taught before will need to be revisited. Perhaps a tendency for some to think they "know it all" is what Jesus really rebukes the Laodiceans for in Revelation 3:17, when He says they think they are "rich and increased with goods, and in need of nothing." It is the spiritual people in the churchthe "angel or ministerial thought-leaders"whom He addresses. So it is their spiritual goodstheir knowledge of truthwith which Jesus finds fault.
In no area has private speculation been more of a problem in the church than with Bible prophecy. But we must obey Scripture when it tells us: "No prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation" (2 Peter 1:20). The Bible is God's Word, not ours. If we will allow the Bible to interpret all its own symbols, only then can we expect the Spirit of God to illuminate our minds with the new light we need for this very hour in which we live.
The book discusses the following:
- The Real Message to the Laodiceans
- How We View Revelation 4-5, and Its Implications for the Seven Seals
- The Seals in the Judgment Hour
- The Seven Trumpets of Judgment
- Opening the Little Book
