Sailing Tall: Around the World on the Square-Rigged Passat, 1946-1948

At the age of 16, author Max Wood went to sea on a British coastal trader, beginning a 50-year career at sea. He relates his adventures during his apprenticeship on one of the last commercial voyages of any cargo square-rigger.
