Action Learning: Images and Pathways

Dilworth (adult education and human resource development, Virginia Commonwealth U.) and Willis (human resource development (Georgia State U.) offer advice on designing and implementing action learning programs in a variety of organizational settings. For the authors, one of the most important parts of action learning is the reflective component, which encourages the questioning of assumptions in situations where small groups of people are confronted with unfamiliar settings in order to spur learning change.
