Light Out of Darkness

If only she could protect her children from the consequences of Jeff's decision. Her very heart aches, knowing she will have to deal with this unexpected threat to the physical and spiritual welfare of her family. "Lord," she cries out, "I can't deal with this! The burden is too great. I just want to crawl into bed and wake up tomorrow, knowing this was just a bad dream. How can I help the children when I feel so empty myself?"

Ellen Baumgartner and her husband, Jim, live in Minnesota. They raised three children and have eight grandchildren. This is her third published book. Ellen grew up in rural North Dakota, has served in the ND Humanities Counsel for eight years, was the ND State Medical Alliance President, and worked in many volunteer capacities in her local church and community in ND and MN.
