Hope

Are you familiar with "Hope"? Lois Hite Overbay, born fifth in a family of six children in Elkton, MD in August 1950. Lois is a Mother, and Grandmother and being used as is led by the Lord. Lois loves to read, sing, write and enjoy time with others. Through the years Lois has taught Sunday School, Bible School, Bible Club, Jr. Church, baby sat, worked in Day Care and Banking. Originally raised nondenominational, and being taught God's word, she realized, there are a lot of people needing to hear his word that didn't go to church or read the Bible. Also, there are many who believe there is a God but don't want to talk about it. Wanting to get the word out without pushing, what better way than in short stories backed up by God's word? Lois was widowed in September 2003, she married again on February 28, 2009 to a childhood sweetheart, Gary Overbay. They now live in Atkins, VA and attend the Atkins First Church of God and is once again working with children. The Pastor always starts and ends his service with "God is good, all the time and all the time God is good". This is true in all our lives, if we let God have control.
