Manitoba Birds: An Introduction to Familiar Species

Manitoba is the permanent or migratory home of 399 species of birds including the provincial bird, the great gray owl. This beautifully illustrated guide highlights over 140 familiar and unique species and includes a map featuring prominent bird-viewing areas. This guide was developed in collaboration with Ducks Unlimited and their team working in the Oak Hammock Marsh, one of North America's Birding Hotspots. Copies can be purchased on site from the award-winning Interpretive Center, located on the edge of the marsh.
