Advances in Intelligent Systems and Robotics: LAPTEC 2003

Containing the 25 approved papers and abstracts of the six invited papers from the November 2003 Congress of Logic Applied to Technology, this work examines applications of classical and non-classical logic to artificial intelligence, robotics, informatics, and related areas. Some examples of topics covered include data classification in the petroleum industry, semantic action of agents s the cause of fuzziness in logic, graphical methods for classifier performance evaluation, paraconsistent automata and robot behavior, domain-theoretic modeling of sensor data function, and auto-organizing agents in ontologies with intentions.
