Eighth Scandinavian Conference on Artificial Intelligence: SCAI'03

Papers from a November 2003 conference focus on the development of artificial intelligence through evolutionary artificial life approaches. Keynote speakers consider biological models of vision and their consequences for artificial vision, and look at the relationship between real world objects and their internal representation in robots. Papers address topics such as multi-agent systems, robots, natural languages, and machine learning. Topics include applying object oriented Bayesian networks to large medical decision support systems, searching for features using a genetic algorithms, and multi- objective evolution of temporal rules.
