These giant talents did more than spin "stacks of wax." They created a whole world of entertainment that we could be a part of at the flick of a switch or the press of a button. Real, live Disc Jockeys, who chose their own music, created imaginary sidekicks, made us laugh and filled our days and nights with companionship and joy.
