The Studia Philonica Annual

David Hay is known for his work in Philonic studies and Pauline studies, with a particular focus on the themes of faith and spirituality. Twenty international scholars contributed 14 chapters to this volume, which is devoted to Hay in honor of his retirement from Coe College in 2001. The chapters are organized into sections on Hay and Philonic studies, Philo and hellenistic Judaism, and early Christianity. The text includes an annotated bibliography of Philonic studies from 1998, and a supplementary bibliography of articles on Philo from 1999-2001. No subject index. Annotation c.
