Scene from the Sidewalk: A Guide to Public Art in the Twin Cities

Minneapolis and St. Paul support the arts. In fact, the Twin Cities house dozens of renowned galleries, theaters and museums. But did you know there's an abundance of art gracing our sidewalks, streets and parks? Glenn Keitel, a volunteer docent at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, brings more than 300 of these undervalued assets to light in a convenient, easy-to-share manner. The artwork is grouped into 43 free walking and driving tours - with photos, descriptions, maps and directions. Scene from the Sidewalk, it's a trip to the museum and a day at the park rolled into one!
