Typewriter in the Sky

Transported inexplicably to another place and time, Mike de Wolf finds himself the villain in a novel that his friend Horace is writing. Mike becomes Miguel de Lobo...and he's fighting for his life on the Spanish Main.

Mike-as-Miguel no sooner escapes the enemy than he falls in love with the beautiful woman who rescued him. Meanwhile, back in present day New York, the author plots Miguel's demise, blind to what it means to Mike. Luckily, Mike discovers a way he can exit the book, but to do so means leaving the woman he adores. To stay means certain death.
