Herbs, Spices and Fruits of the Bible

Chosen for their Biblical references, each of the 15 plants featured in this collection have their own appliqué design. Along with patterns, each project reveals interesting tidbits about the plant, such as how the spices were used both in Biblical times and today. The full-size templates allow beginning-level stitchers to create detailed and finely crafted blocks. Designs for spices include mustard, saffron, cumin, mint, and cinnamon; herbs range from mandrakes, chicory, and onion to garlic, leek, and shallot; while fruits feature olives, figs, grapes, and dates.
