The Last Audit

In the late 1990's, Johnny Brandt, CPA, was a junior partner on the rise at Billingsly, Carlton and Craig, one of the nation's largest public accounting firms. When the technology industry implodes just after the turn of the century, his career as an auditor is in serious jeopardy. What's worse, he and his family become entrapped in a plot to use them as pawns in an elaborate insider trading scheme.

Johnny is faced with difficult and dangerous choices in attempting to have his family absolved of the charges against them. He and his wife, Maria, a former drama major and computer expert, team up to challenge their adversaries. Because they face the potential of going to prison they can't go the authorities, so they use creative and unconventional ways to fight back.
