Our Golden Memories Christmas Correspondence Card Packs feature eight nostalgic images from our collection of Christmas greeting cards from the 1930s. Though this was the era of the clean lines of Art Deco, it was also the tough times of the Great Depression. Many films of this era were escapist, fantasies to give viewers a few hours relief from the worries of their daily lives. Greeting cards followed suit, and featured beautiful, happy families, bucolic villages and stylized holiday memories, often with a colonial theme.
