Between 1891 and 1912, James N. Arnold compiled 21 volumes of Rhode Island research materials, the first six volumes of which are alphabetized extracts of vital events from town records. This book, Volume 4, Part II, addresses the town of Newport, R.I. Approximately 1,800 marriages, or 3,600 persons, and approximately 3,700 births and deaths.
