This work consists primarily of three parts: A biography of Baron Von Steuben; a biography of General John Kaib; and approximately 40 pages devoted to a discussion of the German Mercenaries. The author's narrative also provides the reader not only biographical information on Von Steuben and Kaib, but advances a focused insight into the German contribution to both the American and British efforts.
