Thousand-Year Flood

As Southeast Texas braced for Hurricane Harvey, no one could have imagined the menace Harvey would become as a deluge of over 26 inches of rain dumped on Beaumont making Harvey the most extreme rain event in our nation's history.

The Beaumont Enterprise is proud to present Thousand-Year Flood: Harvey Wreaks Destruction on Southeast Texas; A Pictorial Account by the Photojournalists of The Beaumont Enterprise, a hardcover book that captures Harvey's devastation and our community's indomitable spirit to rise above. This 160-page book will feature breathtaking photos and compelling stories from the staff of the Beaumont Enterprise who captured it all. A portion of the proceeds from this book will go to Southeast Texas Emergency Relief Fund.
