Professor Stephen Offei, MA, BPhil., PhD (Glasgow) S.A R.F., F.S.A.L.S (IALS) (London), qualified as a barrister in England in 1973. He is currently the Dean of the Faculty of Law at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi and the Director of the Ghana Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (GIALS). His research interests are in the areas of Common Law, Administrative Law, Public International Law, Jurisprudence & Philosophy of Law, Medical Law and Legal Education. He is also the author of Law & Philosophy (1986) Basic Jurisprudence and Legal Philosophy, 1st edition 1998 and 2nd edition (2010); Law of Torts in the South Pacific, 1st edition (1997) and 2nd edition (2006).
