Ms. Irene Is So Demanding

Often times, adults neglect to involve children in conversations that involve severe predicaments. Ms. Irene Is so Demanding" is written from a child's perspective. It serves as a conversation starter between children and adults about a shared experience; the hurricane. The child takes you through all that led up to the hurricane including her thoughts and feelings. Our children experienced the hurricane and they have some of the same fears and concerns that we had. The narrator learns that a bad situation does not have to be a bad experience. She also learns that there is something to be learned from all of life's experiences.
