Legends of Excellence Black History Collection

The 2008 Black History collection will present a continuing theme of overcoming obstacles in pursuit of achieving excellence through the examples set by the individuals featured in the Legends of Excellence Heritage Focus DVD and poster. The curriculum will include: . Legends of Excellence DVD. Legends of Excellence Poster. Leader guide to be utilized by the teacher to facilitate learning in a group or congregation setting, featuring:- 10 lesson subjects/themes to correspond with the video segments - Suggested structure to conduct a Black History learning session- Discussion questions and activities- Skits, poems and scripture references- Guide to help students write a short report
