Embeded's pure gold drawbridge crosses over the gap that separates Evereverland and Dredland. From the edge of Evereverland he can see Blakbar in a dungeon. Swordfish finds Blakbar and takes him to Dredland's edge; he crosses over, sees jewels growing on dancing trees, the Tredmil for what it really is and much more.
Back in Dredland, Blakbar shows his family the greatcoat Awsum gave him and discovers precious ointment in the casket in the pocket where Dredlanders keep their wallets.
A party prepares for the coming windstorm. Blakbar is given a new name and a scroll that solves life's mystery.
