Understanding Your Changing Life

Understanding Your Changing Life addresses many of the changes teens will experience as a result of pregnancy and parenting. Part One helps teens adjust to a newly discovered pregnancy and guides them through some of the tough decisions they face. Topics include: telling others, building self-esteem, examining values, setting goals, making decisions, and considering options related to the pregnancy. Part Two describes relationship changes teens can expect if they parent. Topics include: adjusting to parenthood; relationships with family, friends, and the co-parent; partner relationships; sexual decision making; birth control; STDs; communication; and crises in relationships.
