Avery's Gore

This is a fictitious novel, dated in the 1770's, about how it might have been when Vermont was the New Hampshire Grants, and stayed so, even though New York tried to take over the territory. If the Yorkers had succeeded, we old Vermont ridge runners would now all be Yorkers of which there are too many.

Thanks to The Grants' settlers, the author's ancestors among them, there are still some old ridge runners left, yet we are fast becoming all too few.
