Getty Research Journal

The Getty Research Journal publishes the work of emerging and established scholars and seeks to foster an environment of collaborative: scholarship among art historians, museum, curators, and conservators. Essays in the Getty Research Journal focus on objects or aspects of the Getty's extensive archival, rare book, and art collections or bear upon the annual research themes of the Getty Research Institute. Shorter texts present new acquisitions, scholarly activities, and ongoing research projects at the Getty.
