The Door To The Basement And Other Stories is a collections of suspensful short stories by Wickford W. Welden.

Wickford Welden currently lives in Larchmont, a village in Southern Westchester. He has a full time position as a Worker's Compensation underwriter in a large state agency in lower Manhattan. Like his predecessor Franz Kafka a hundred years ago, he likes to write fantastic and sometimes sinister stories. Mr. Welden holds an undergraduate degree in philosophy. He travelled extensively around Britain and the Continent in the 1970's and the 1980's. He's the author of one previous volume, "Tales".
