About the Author:
Indra Sharma was born in 1923 in the small town of Nathdwara, in Rajasthan, India. He learned the art of painting from his family and did his first creation at the tender age of ten. He graduated with an MFA from the Sir J. J. School of Arts in Mumbai. His work combines contemporary and traditional elements. Remaining humble and devoted to his Hindu faith and profession, he creates icons of Hindu gods and goddesses that are altars of worship for millions.
