Virtue and the Abundant Life

Virtue is at the very heart of who we are. Yet in our world of sliding values and diminishing morals, we often lose sight of what it really means. In the first Brigham Young University symposium to address this important topic-cosponsored by the BYU Religious Education department and the Wheatley Institution-fourteen gospel scholars, educators, and civic leaders explore various aspects of virtue, giving us a fuller picture of its significance. This book examines what is necessary for virtue to flourish, how to cultivate a life of virtue, and how to pass on the love of virtue and virtuous living to future generations. Virtue is not an antiquated method of living but one that, when applied, makes life rich and abundant.
