Teachings of the Doctrine and Covenants, by William E. Berrett, affords its readers a deeper insight into one of the standard works of the Church and one with which all Latter-day Saints should be thoroughly conversant. Elder Berrett has made an exhaustive study of the Doctrine and Covenants and has drawn from it those principles which we need to understand better. Moreover, he has gone into the history of the revelations to indicate their background. Such subjects as marriage, forgiveness, Church courts, what to do in case of illness, consecration and stewardship, tithing, the resurrection, and many, many other pertinent doctrines and principles are intelligently presented and interestingly and fully discussed.
