From the Furnace of Affliction to a Wealthy Place

How could I survive without the man that I loved and had been married to for 14 years. How could I live without my ten year old, first-born daughter?

My husband and daughter had been killed by a drunken driver and now my seven year old daughter and I were left with everything in our lives turned upside down. I wasn't even there to tell them good-bye or to pray for them. I never saw them again after they left our home that Monday morning on November 9, 1987.

The winds of change blew hard against my face. There was a change in every direction and I never liked change.

The reality of a living God became more real and powerful to me than I ever knew He could be. How He loved me.

God had been preparing me for this day for years. I had not been caught unaware. His training in my past taught me to use what I had learned to help me come out of a fire that was seven times hotter as he moved me into a wealthy place.
