Caring About Animals Around The World: A story introducing threatened species and their habitats

Jumoke Lion, the Head of the Animal Rescue Sanctuary at Habitat Heroes takes readers on a journey around the world to visit some of his friends. All of Jumoke's friends are threatened animals who have different ways of expressing themselves and supporting causes which are special to them. Readers first travel to the Arctic to visit Polly Polar Bear whose mission is to educate children about climate change. Polly embraces the changes around her while educating others. Next readers travel to Italy to meet Terran the Brown Bear who loves tree planting. He teaches children about the benefits of tree planting and that deforestation is a reason for his relatives becoming threatened. Meiling, the Panda Bear, lives in China and she supports her causes by writing petitions. Meiling is also being effected by deforestation.
