MANNY DAH MONGOOSE !: FASTEST MONGOOSE IN TOWN !

"Manny Dah Mongoose .......... Fastest Mongoose in Town!" is derived from a song I wrote a few years ago. After performing the song/story many times, I kept having people tell me that the story would make a great children's book. Having recently come across some cartoons I once sketched about Manny Dah Mongoose, I finally got off my "Okole" (My Bottom!) and decided to give it a try.
"Manny Dah Mongoose" is a story written and performed in "Pidgin English" which is the street language of people in the Hawaiian Islands. "Pidgin" is a simplified version of the English language often augmented by features from other languages prevalent in Hawaii.
I have also recorded a version of me singing/speaking the story with a Slack Key guitar in the background.
