Daphne Dean is proud to be serving her country stateside during WWII as a reporter and an Office of Strategic Services operative (spy.) She's a good reporter, but finds her spying skills to be as lackluster as her love life. Her ex-boyfriend, Kenneth, who turned his back on his county by becoming a draft dodger and a black market racketeer, says her wants he back. Will she take him back to avoid being lonely?
