A collision with a tree provides Gon with an interesting new hat – a bird’s nest with three orphaned chicks inside. Will this close proximity to the most tenacious creature on Earth be enough to toughen up the little guys so that they can survive on their own? Later, he leads a ragtag band of hard-bitten creatures through a forest fire. And finally, Gon teaches an old elephant new tricks.
