Blood of My Blood

When his godson, a charismatic young rock star, is found shot dead in a New York City stairwell, PI Smokey Annicelli throws himself headlong into a case that brings back memories of a terrible night in Bronx River Park that he's spent the last thirty years trying to forget. With vicious thugs on his tail, Smokey has to dig deeper than he ever thought he could to solve a mystery that, in many ways, explains his own life.
