Manolo Valdes

As one of Spain’s most influential postwar artists, Manolo Valdés recognizes the importance of public works. In spring 2010 he added a unique and unforgettable form of street theater to Broadway, with sixteen monumental bronze sculptures of abstracted figures, heads, and horses taking up temporary residence from Columbus Circle to 166th Street.
