Jason is the only man that Yazmean has ever loved, dating back to their senior year at Howard University. They've maintained a close group of friends throughout their years of college. Raine is Yazmean's best friend from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. After graduation Raine is offered a job as a police officer in Tallahassee, bringing her closer to her best friend.
