Cora's Casseroles

The mountains of East Tennessee are the setting for this simple and poignant love story. A childless couple in their 50s faces their own mortality and learns to live all over again. Their story will bring you laughter and tears. Jasper and Cora Stroud have to plan his funeral, and the last thing they want is her pompous preacher/brother doing the service and turning it into a circus. They decide to visit the funerals of total strangers to get ideas for Jasper's service, and politely take a casserole to every funeral. They learn a lot about funerals, people, and their love for each other.
