Over the Golden Horizon

Over the Golden Horizon is about Jeanne’s whole life, and how her journey or exodus to mental health and healing brought her back to normalcy. She studied healing through writing techniques from the greats (Fox, Mazza) and discussed experiences from her childhood and growth to adulthood. She remembers her father who died way too young at age 47. Her fondness and love for him shine through as she reminisces. She discusses both happy and sad experiences and exchanges ideas about writing as a healing art. She writes about her mother, stricken with Alzheimer’s, and grieves over her husband who she lost eight years ago from heart disease. Although there is a lot of tragedy, she expresses much joy she feels for life which leads the way to a better and more fulfilled existence. This book teaches how she wrote through traumas and also shared beautiful poetry about her emotional experiences.
