Hill of Stones

In 1945, a murder forces a girl to go on a treacherous journey to find her last remaining relative in Berlin. When she gets there, she finds nothing but rubble. With no one to turn to but an eleven-year-old boy, she follows him to a basement beneath a ruined building. Without power or water, she lives there until that, too, vanishes. It's a story of a young girl's will to survive, no matter what fate throws her way.
