For Maya, a Warrior-Traveler of the Multi-verse, the assignment to save an Energy Child from death means she must face not only the mystery man who has dominated her dreams, but her own past and her refusal to trust in love. With evil stalking them at every turn, Maya and Kantu must navigate a world where the population is "ringed" to control emotion. If the Energy Child is ringed and eradicated, her world is doomed, as she alone holds the power to destroy the Guardian of the rings.

As Maya and Kantu work to save the Energy Child, they reignite a love that has spanned lifetimes and discover the time has come to trust one another so they can finally and forever change the course of that love.
