"The Apostate" is the remarkable story of Ray Dancer, a young American forced into accepting a dangerous mission from Protect America Service, an outsourced and mysterious federal security agency, after being accused of terrorism himself. He also faces criminal charges after a serious scrape with an injured policeman. He succeeds in joining the Islamic center after meeting and falling in love with Abra Malouse, the niece of the center's imam. But his love for Abra greatly complicates his mission.
