David Boylan is a financial consultant from New York assigned by Greenwood and Associates to help a Virginia college unravel its tangled financial crisis and save it from monetary disaster. Boylan uncovers an evil scheme of crime, corruption, and murder that goes far beyond what anyone would have imagined or suspected. While working on the college campus, Boylan meets and grows fond of an attractive college coed, Benna Swanson, who helps him re-discover and re-focus his own life in a few short, but action-packed weeks.
