A Second Chance

Aaron Fowler is devastated when he loses his beloved wife Melissa after child birth. He is left with son Gilly and infant daughter Gracie. He goes through a period of despair as he isolates himself from his family and children. When Gilly asks if his daddy has gone to heaven to be with his mommy, Aaron comes to his senses and takes on his responsibilities. After trying to take care of Gilly and a colicky baby, who keeps him awake, and farm and do all the chores, he realizes he must have help. He asks the childrens' nanny, Ursula, who cares for them in the daytime, to agree to a marriage of convenience so she can stay with them at night. She accepts and falls in love with Aaron. As time goes by, Aaron begins to wonder if Ursula is the second chance at love that Melissa asked him to find.
