Curl Up in my Pearls

Curl Up in My Pearls is a journey of my participation of life over 14 years through experiences turned into expressions on pen and paper. The title is derived from an understanding of what an Oyster goes through when an irritation comes into its habitat. Through the various Poems, I reveal my inwardness; deep fears, hurts, confusion, loss, revelation, love and happiness. I hope through what I write, I can help others bring voice to their life's exposures that they have not been able to naturally articulate. Simply put, what I hope is that when people read them, they can relate to what I am saying. The Poems should appeal to an audience that is mature, even the young adult, who have drawn their own wisdom of life over the years. A lot of Christian beliefs are highlighted in the Poetry. This is the 'dimension' I live in that aids me to explain my life, my death, my purpose and how I overcome the challenges I face. In it all, I hope they carry a message of Hope even in the darkest hour of life's Journey.
