Kukuwa Kyereboah-Nuamah is a faculty member at George Mason University's School of Dance. Born and raised in Ghana, West Africa, Professor Nuamah is an internationally acclaimed African dance performer and choreographer, and the founder of the Gye Nyame African Cultural Dance Company. She has over 25 years of cultural dance experience, which she incorporates into her work, showcasing her knowledge of the diverse African ethnic groups and their unique dances. Her own troupe of drummers and dancers performs all over the United States at schools, corporations, cultural shows, and festivals.
